An already battle tested UGA wins a close one against an ARK team still trying to get into the swing of things after playing a cupcake and a week off..

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say UA-35 UGA-21.
Too bad there isn't a Go Hogs sign.

It's gonna be impossible to get a handle on this game this early. Georgia has a helluva lot of talent & experience returning, unfortunately it's not at QB or RB. I have a very good feeling about this team from what I've heard outta Athens, but.....
One things for sure, the Dawgs will find out early if we have a sleeper team or a team who'll just put you to sleep. Ok.St.,S.Car.,Ark.,ASU & LSU outta the gate. Damn if i know...could be 5-0 or 1-4 & putting Aaron Murray in at QB & getting ready for '10..

That may be ok for the Dawgs. Because unless things take a huge turn, Ark's defense was weak last year.

I think Petrino has the Hawgs offense ready to play. And, if their defense is improved, they'll beat UGA.

Hope so... I think we'll be pretty good at QB & very good at RB, but it's far from certain. Think most questions will be answered in a hurry vs Ok. St....

Hogs are catching UGA at a great time. Even if Cox & the RB's pan out & play well, It'll be UGA's 2nd long road trip in 3weeks with an always tough game with the Cock's sandwiched in between..

@ Arkansas after the Dawgs drop a game in Stillwater. Closer than expected but the Hawgs sneak one out at the end with a fieldgoal. After two road loses the Dawg nation calls for the DCs head. Richt wont be more than two seasons behind.

Surprised he has lasted this long especially after the GT game last year.

LSUGradATL wakes up from dream in time to witness the Mighty Dawgs beat the shite out of his LSU team for the 4th straight time. He gives up the Purple and Gold in shame and becomes a GT fan, hoping like hell his Yeller Jerkets can win again in November. When that fails, LSUGradATL and his "life partner" put their midtown condo on the market and move back to the swamp...err bayou.

Georgia sucks this year. Arkansas wins this one. I think the only conference games UGA wins this year are against the bottom feeders in the league. No way they beat Arkansas on the road. Especially with Arkansas coming off a bye and UGA having another slugfest with USC the week before.

Petrino and staff openly profess that all summer, camp, and through Missouri State week they have prepared for Georgia.

In addition to the above, Arkansas has had this entire week plus next to put it all together.

The two things that keep coming to my mind are:

-Richt will have shown everything against OSU and USC. Petrino ran the same 4 plays on offense and defense against MSU.

-This game means relatively little to Georgia. It's an SEC match so it has value but to Arkansas this game is a jihad. It's the home opener. It's a game that many consider make or break.

I say Arkansas by 10 and Mallett has a coming out party with a wide-open Petrino playbook.

Ah UGAs rough schedule could end up benefiting the Dawgs. By week 3 they'll be battle tested vs a team known for its offense (Ok.State) and a team known for its defense (S.Car) While Mallet and Arkansas will only have experience vs Missouri State.

This could really mean trouble for Arky. Though depending on what happens with the SC-UGA game next week, not only in who wins but how they win it, the UGA team could either be pumped up and feel like the Ok.State game was just a week 1 blunder or totally dejected being 0-2 to start the season.

Georgia at 0-2 or 1-1, it won't matter in my opinion.

This has been the only game Arkansas and staff have had on the agenda for months, and they still have another 9 days to put it together.

Too many factors in the Razorbacks favor. And I'm really trying to be conservative in that.

Hawgs 41
UGA 14

I think Arkansas gets off to an early start and it just gets worse after the half.

I am thinking Hogs jump out early on offense. I think the Hog and Okie State teams are fairly similar. Razorbacks will have an easier time of it bc of scouting report provided by Ok St and SC.

I think Georgia beats SC pretty handily.
