Maybe, maybe not. However, here are the scores for this game since 2000. 8 Games have been decided by 2 TDs or more. 4 for LSU and 4 for Bama.

In all of them games, Bama has had game managers at QB. Now we not only have elite RBs, we also have elite WRs and 2 QBs of which would start for most teams in the country. LSU has a real good team and I like Burrow but barring injuries, Bama will be on a whole other level when we play.

I hope both teams make it there unscathed and undefeated!

I think Alabama will beat LSU pretty handily.

the O line of LSU is a disaster. the only senior is suspended ***
3 guys are already injured. the starting center will not play vs Florida.
They had a center go out early to NFL. so the backup who starts is a freshman.

and there are games before then. More injuries await.
LSU will be lucky to move the ball at all.
they need a healing miracle.

*** yet another example of poverty and crime in NCAA football.
Good Lord pay these guys.

You have 1 that would start at QB. Hurts may start at RB for some teams

Hurts has gotten a lot better under Enos! He is going through all of his progressions.

They aren't better than Ole Miss' big 3.

Ole Miss receivers are tall, but they're not as good as the Alabama receivers. They don't run routes as well, they don't adjust to the ball as well, and they can't catch the ball as well as Alabama receivers.

Ole Miss' offensive scheme limits the WRs. Sounds dumb but it's true. It's not that they're not capable of running routes.

LSU won’t hold Bama to 27.

If Tua plays all 4 quarters, Bama will scote between 40 & 50.

This board is so fun when it’s full of hopeful LSU fans before their eventual November collapse

'll get downvoted for this but frankly I think LSU's best shot at the playoffs would run the table but lose Bama. Let Bama play (and win in this scenario) Georgia in the SEC championship and we go into the offseason as a one loss team. Georgia is the real deal. Would rather have LSU be able to use that resting up and not risk any injuries.

LSU has had to beat Georgi twice to win an SEC and National Championship before. Not concerned.

Once again for the SLOW people. Most LSU fans did not expect or predict this season to start this well so I’m not sure what type of mode you dumbasses expect us to be in,all things considered

LSU's DBs over Bama's WRs are probably the only match-up I see in LSU's favor.

Please God tell me that was a joke hahahahahaha!!

Jeudy/Ruggs III/DeVonta/Waddle were all 5-Stars, and all all future NFLers. And with that, Tua is throwing to them. This isn’t a dis to LSUs DBs, I’m sure they are great, but Bama’s WRs aren’t a weak link I can promise you that.

Christ........ no one is saying Bama WRs suck. But let’s not act like y’all have been lighting up top 10 defenses. If y’all think Bama is rolling into BR and putting up 50 then you’re either delusional or trolling. LSU doesn’t win that game but it will not be a blowout. Bookmark this post.

Lol we fumbled twice n the red zone and absolutely shut down that “vaunted” Wr group. Outside of a few drives. It was utter domination. We gave up a garbage TD and the offense left 10-14 points off the board.

Blah blah blah.

I remember everybody in the world said UF was going to beat LSU by 50 in 1997. How did that work out? Anything can happen in Death Valley

That is what separates the elite receivers from the rest IMO. It’s subtle, and can make good QBs look great.
