This is where we disagree. You can look prepared and make few mistakes and still be out-talented. All Auburn fans are simply saying is this team looks more prepared than Gus’ teams. I don’t see why that’s so hard to grasp. The talent likely isn’t there to make any relevant run.

If you say so.

I think his offenses were high school bullshite and he got a lot of wins due to the horseshoe that's stuck up his arse.

You could also say he sucked at developing QB talent, and talent in general.

But I never thought of them as being unprepared.

I enjoy talking football and such, but I don't give a shite what you say personally. I'm not just going to accept something that's said on it because of who said it.

What will I turn into if I don't? Can I be a tranny next?

The returns have been good thus far. I am still concerned about recruiting.

Recruiting will be fine once Covid dies down and recruits can visit campus again. Gus usually had classes in the top 10 and I see no reason Harsin can't do the same, especially once the new football facility is finished.

You were the "6-6" in every Auburn thread pre-season, right?

Gus recruited like Chiz did. High rankings. When Chiz left we didn't have a LB worth a damn. Gus left the OL in a bad place. Rankings are all well and good, but when you have serious positions of need that aren't addressed, those rankings mean nothing.

Very true. That’s where LSU is.

Too 5 classes with a FCS oline.

You mean I predicted Auburn would go 6-6?

No, I haven't looked at your schedule much at all to predict your record.

Overall, Harsin will be a failure though.

I concede that It’s definitely a possibility that Harsin will be a failure at AU.

Are you willing to concede that it’s possible that he won’t?

Yes of course, but it will be the first time he wasn't a failure.

Yep, beating an Akron team that wouldn't rank in the top200 if you included FCS teams surely proved everyone wrong.

Now hold on. Let's be fair to Auburn. Sagarin has Akron ranked #155 with only 31 FCS schools ranked ahead of them.

True, it's not like Harsin can call up a recruit and say "I'm Nick Saban and I want you at Alabama where you'll win championships and be developed as a first round pick."

Recruits made business decisions last year. They didn't get a chance to go to Auburn and witness the down home family atmosphere like bringing their favorite porn star in to strip for them like they did for Cyrus Kouandjio.

If Gus was still there, the Akron game would’ve been 14-3 at the half and 38-13 at final.

I like Harsin. I doubt he will ever take auburn on a crazy Chizik/Malzahn/Orgeron ride to the NCG, but I think he will get Aubie back to a respectable level.
