Seriously. Not for reasons in OP but I like CS. It nails that safe suburb outlet mall thing Texas does so well.
Meanwhile Austin is the place I almost daily fight traffic, hobos, hippies, one way streets, no parking that isn't pay-for or crappy(the parking garages are amazing bad). It has its perks, but if you are over 30 the best thing about Austin is the food (Torchies, Mighty Fine) or the concerts, both of which I get in Cedar Park. Or could drive from CS and get.

Thank you Rebel and Wade. FiL is addicted to Green Egg cooking. Going to try this beer chicken on his setup!
The good people is what keeps me coming back to this place.

Speaking of the big green egg, beer can chicken works great in it.
I have a Large BGE and have done 2 at the same time. Even better if you slide Rosemary & lemon slices under the skin and add garlic & herbs to the beer/coke.
I personally like bone in chicken because I think it adds flavor but my wife/kids prefer boneless breasts. I am sure you can dry the boneless breats out but I have yet to do it.

It's pretty much impossible to dry out the chicken that way.
frick Texas.

Seriously thank you Rebel. I am excited because my wife always bugs me to eat more chicken.
And personally I can't frick any state. I like America, even the shitty parts. If I am going to say frick a state then frick the Islamic State.

I thought it was a pretty common thing, but have fun.

If Austin could get rid of all the Aggies and Californians herp-derping along, it would be a good start.
Aggies diss Austin but move there in droves. My friend, Leander = Austin. I.e.: You live in Austin. Even the A&M students come to Austin to party. OU fans are similar, they talk shite about TEXAS, but have covered over Dallas.
Now continue your empty Aggie boasting. It's cute.

Lol why Drac? Just because I care about different things than you?
Ten years ago I was all in on Austin. Went to every ACL, SXSW or Marleyfest. I loved the variety and the energy. As an adult if I see one more drum circle with a group of drugged out girls dancing in the middle I will barf. Give me the Goddamn HEB Plus instead.
Different strokes Drac.

Three times. Still sucks.
Northgate is good but no different/better than the bar scene in an SEC town and certainly pales in comparison to Austin.

Yeah those Cali people are the worst. Ug I hate the Cali transplant. My employer is an Aggie so I can't bitch about that.

Tell my Austin friends that. They joke Leander might as well be Waco it is so far from downtown. Oh and the fact its in Wilco makes all my pothead friends (aka most of them) freak out.
When I hit that 183a toll road I sometimes breath a sigh of relief. Austin can be exhausting, and Cedar Park is a big outlet mall. shite probably more parking total in Cedar Park than all of Austin.
Oh and good to see you are still around texashorn, I owe you an apology!

Why do LSU people keep inferring that any Ag said College Station is better than other college towns?
And yes, Austin--a large city--has much to offer that most college towns don't.

Not that ATX is the end all be all, but CS is only better than Starkville in the SEC town hierarchy.

No problem. Now, you have to be careful. If he has the extra large big green egg, the curvature of the dome is shallower, and you might not be able to stand the chicken up. The large should be fine. That's about as much as I know. I've only seen it done, never cooked one myself.
