Have two schools ever fought over mediocre coaches like Auburn and Ole Miss?

Both lost, but both are taking victory laps. 
One gave a known scumbag a big contract. One got played for a raise and an extension by another known scumbag.
Both have mediocre won/loss records.
Jimmy Sexton is my hero. The man is an absolute genius. A pimp extraordinaire.

This really is pretty true, not even mad. Funny to watch if you can be rational about it, which almost all of us (OM and AU fans) have proved not to be.
