Tie breakers are Bama v Georgia or Texas in the SeCCG regardless of record.

Can both teams opt out if they are both playoff bound anyway?

Interesting but claiming the SEC title is kind of a big deal.

Not sure what they do since having a lower playoff ranked team in the # 2 spot than the #3 team in the tiebreaker might get you an extra team in if they pull an upset. Maybe they keep it the same ones and just remove the division related ones.

Especially with a 1st round bye for the champ, guaranteed playing at home

1. Head to head, if applicable
2. Comparative record vs top 3 common opponents
3. Is Bama one of the teams? Yes: pick Bama
4. Has one of the teams ever hung an SEC co-divisional champs banner? Yes: they're out
5. Is Tennessee one of teams? Yes: lol, 1998
