The program was already nosediving when Whitworth took over in '55. His tenure was merely the result of horrible decisions being made in the athletic department at that time. And, as a poster up above pointed out, things recovered relatively quickly with Bryant within 3-4 years of Whitworth's dismissal.

Not so with DuBose. The program collapsed almost immediately under his leadership.

Some of you young Gator fans make me lulz with your bullshite.

Charlie Pell, Galen Hall ... they cheated their fricking asses off, left you on probation, but oh, wait, errrr, ummmm .... I forgot. That's okay with Gator fans these days because they set it up nicely for SOS.

Urban Meyer ... won a championship or two, left your program in shambles for Muschamp to clean-up.

Get some perspective.
