That's nothing short of pathetic. He should have to sit at least two games for that hit. What P.O.S. he is!

Besides, he gots a half game suspension, what more do you want?

If he did that in the Pros he would be suspended for several games and when he returned he would be a marked man. There is no place in football for that type of shite.

That's great, but he got suspended a half game per the NCAA rulebook. I'll be the first to admit that that play was dirty and it looked like it should be a larger suspension, but you have to go by the letter of the law. Same circumstances for the Vandy center. Although i think that hit was much more susceptible to being career ending, the penalties have been handed out and it's time to move on.

Not true, Richt can suspend him for as long as he wants.

Good lord i'm speaking from an NCAA rulebook perspective. Obviously Richt can suspend him as long as he wants. I don't think there are rules in the NCAA about twitter but people get suspended for that all the time.

Quit nit picking

For the record, i think i heard Richt say that if Williams hadn't left his feet then there wouldn't be any penalty...I disagree and think he should be suspended for a game or two, but i'm not the HC and don't know the specifics/all the information about the play.

You realize that Fairley wasn't suspended right? That's why we were bitching you arse clown. That and the fact that your coach defended him despite evidence that it was a dirty arse hit. Our players all got suspended. Yours didn't. Thus the bitching

I agree about Chizik and au, but that does not let Richt off the hook. That play clearly deserves more that 2qtrs suspension. Richt has the ability and imo obligation to lengthen it, will he?

The typical UGA hypocrisy is astounding. "The system worked here, nothing to see- move along".

How is that at all what i'm saying. Good lord you aubies are insufferable.

ETA: I'm not saying the system worked. If the system worked then Fairley would've been suspended last year, Williams would be suspended for longer, and the Vandy Center would be suspended for longer too. But the fact that the barn has started about 4 different threads relating to UGA despite not having anythign to do with the game almost makes me feel sympathy for the Bama fans that have to live in the same state as your fan base. But by all means, keep bitching and moaning.

would josh davis have been suspended?

Yea yea...try to align with bama fans. We go back adn forth with eachother all year so i doubt you're going to find the support you're seeking. Especially considering the video we all just watched.

nice red herring though.

Not fishing for support. I don't expect nor need their support. My arguments are sound considering i'm not homering for any side. I think the hit by williams was dirty, no problems here. He is getting suspended, albeit, probably for not a long enough time.

Josh Davis should have been reprimanded too IMO.

The fallout after the Auburn game this year will be fairley epic. No doubt a million threads will be started about chop blocks, punches, late hits, hate crimes, slap fights, and yo mamma jokes
