I remember when Alabama fans crucified the LSU posters who brought up Brian Kelly's multiple Division II natties here.

Now, they're beating their chests over Kalen's NAIA wins.

My, how the mighty have fallen.

Brian Kelly won about 75% of the games he coached at Grand Valley State, over a decade... Pretty good, but he was no Deboer

Terry Bowden went undefeated at AU for two seasons. On the heels of Bama winning a Natty in 92 Not sure this is the game you want to play ..

Two seasons do not make a hundred game career... Longevity is the key in coaching, Deboer has won consistently throughout his career

Um … Deboer has coached exactly two seasons of Power 5 football, if you consider the Pac-2 power 5 ball.

Isn't NAIA basically glorified intramural sports?

Something called Texas A&I is their tGOAT program.

Something else called Keiser is the defending national champion.

I follow Division II and JUCO a bit but didn't know much about NAIA until the Bammers here started bragging about it.

I don’t like this thread. There are already plenty of Kalen Deboer threads here to insert this data into. This feels like a brag thread when there is nothing to brag about. Deboer has his opportunity to retain the souls that Nick Saban took. If he retains them people will shut up. It he doesn’t, we will want to fire him.

Pointing out the fact that Kalen Deboer has the highest win percentage of any coach in the history of college football, is not bragging, it is simply stating facts...quite frankly, I could not care less whether you like it or not

Knute Rockne is higher.

Sorry, just stating facts.

I don’t always follow my own advice I admit.

But remember that nobody is starting multiple threads a day about Vanderbilt football. There are plenty of opportunities to be a snarky, smartass Alabama fan (like me!) without starting threads.

Starting a thread here is usually a disaster for the OP.

Larry Kehres at Mount Union has this honor

Career record of 332-24-3 (.929). 11 national titles, 5 runner-up finishes.
So no, you're not stating facts

I upvoted you. Saying never, forever, or fact can all come back to bite a person.

Is it?

For all I know there's a NAIA coach who's never lost a game. Do you really have NAIA stats that you can use to verify that or are you just assuming there aren't any NAIA coaches who had more success?

I googled a bit and can't even find an all-time NAIA coaching win list.

To be fair, he has more accomplishments in four years of FBS coaching than Brian Kelly has in almost twenty. P5 conference champ, NY6 win.
