Jalen Hurd had 23 carries for 83 yards and 1 TD vs ARKANSAS STATE?Why would you even bring him up for it?
Speedy Noil had 6 total touches for 191 yards. Thats 2.5x the yards on 1/4 the carries.
Fournette had 13 carries for 92 yards and a TD.

Tennessee's o-line is fricking godawful. Anyone who rushes for 83 yards behind that pile of steaming shite deserves an award.

MR can't get all of our touches, we have great seniors who play as well. If not, LF would have had 200 last week.

If people really don't think Sam Houston State is way weaker of competition than Arkansas St, lets wait and see what kind of stats Hurd puts up against Chattanooga an opponent who really is on the level of Sam Houston St. That will end this pathetic debate by LSWHO fans.

They're weaker, not way weaker though. But it doesnt matter. Arkansas St still isnt much of a competition and Hurd stats were pretty bad. At least Fournette did what he was suppose to do against weak competition.

Like I said when Hurd has 10 YPC and 2 or 3 TD's against UT-C you will see that Arkansas St is much better than FCS competition.
I don't understand how you all can't figure out that comparision.

Possibly. Possibly not. If hurd has that kind of performance against Chattanooga then maybe that week he'll deserve the award.
You still are ignoring that against weak competition he avg 3.6 ypc. That's a poor performance, despite who lsu played.
