Dude, ANY heterosexual male has to watch their backs when UTa is behind them. This isn't news.

Thanks, man

Which brings up the question, why haven't you improved as a poster one iota since you began? It's not for a lack of posts.

Yet a significant portion of your own fanbase still insist you're an alter. Interesting.

The crazy part is I bet that transfer LSU guy is their DL next year, there was another LSU or Bama DL that hit the portal this week and Sark is the first school on them according to 247, for every miss in recruiting, the will take any transfer from LSU or Bama no questions asked, no one in the early Top 25 takes more transfers than OU/tu rn in college ball, Auburn isn’t even that aggressive and I feel they take the most in the SEC

This is literally the dumbest post on this thread. We lost a 4 star recruit to Miss State. He did not work out here but if he works out there it doesn't mean their defense is inferior. It means that the scheme they run is a better fit for them. That's like saying because Kyler Murray didn't work out for you guys but started for OU, that OU is somehow inferior to you. You guys and your bullshite.

Dude, you have UT posters on THIS VERY THREAD claiming that anytime we win a recruit, it's just because we are cheating more. Literally, that's level of argument.

But THIS is what's really the BS??

Didn't Georgia just raid the portal and isn't that a big part of their ranking and season expectations?

Yeah I mean, quarterbacks play football. Some might even go out on a limb and say they are one of the more important positions.

Is that supposed to be an asterisk on the list or something?

You need to research what signing a QB does to rankings. OU signs a good one every other year, it magnifies the point system. I liked your attempt at a smart arse comment, wish I weren’t having to Tudor you on this.

It feels good being called “champ” obviously, you wouldn’t understand. Fo real do, go check out what a 4-5 star QB does to your rankings. Wasn’t trying to come off as a smart arse, just trying to help. But, like most A&M fans, they don’t really know what they are looking at as it pertains to football, so they get very defensive. As I stated earlier, you’ve got a heck of a recruiting class, you should relax and enjoy it.

Stole this from TexAgs, but it is pertinent

quote:

The OP is absolutely correct. The Texas campus is absolutely landlocked. That's a huge deal. They just don't have the space to do what we can do. It's a real problem for them and there isn't a solution.

As far as football facilities go we are well along in the planning for 1) the the three new outdoor practice fields and accompanying infrastructure, 2) the new indoor practice facility, 3) the athletic academic center, and 4) the renovation of the locker room and elements of Bright.

Also, I'd like to point out that this is on top of the completion of an impressive hotel overlooking Kyle and don't forget the renovation of Spence Park to be ready for the 22 season. Stuff like this matters and Texas can't replicate these things.

I am amused at the sips who are telling themselves Jimbo will soon be departing for LSU or someplace else. Like he's leaving A&M where he can get anything he asks for? No coach in America has the kind of setup Jimbo has.and certainly not Texas. That won't change either.

No school in CFB has both the capabilities that we do, and the land to work with. A&M will give Fisher anything he wants, including a renovation of the locker room that isn't even that old to be honest. Meanwhile, the moneybag sips have to walk 15 minutes to and from their locker room to the practice field through a landmine of hobos and hobo shite

And football isn't the only sport on the upgrade list. Schloss is going to get a lot of what he's asking for as well

Giving a coach “anything he wants” while he has gone 17-8 in the conference probably isn’t something to be proud about. Dollars and cents are nice, but that has to equate to wins at some point. Maybe this year will be the years for the Aggies.

Given that Riley has yet to win a playoff game and can't put an actual defense on the field, he's still running an extremely poor second to Jimbo at this point.

Riley has addressed the defensive issues. The defense has been a lot better the last couple of years. Hopefully we continue to see it trend up. Lincoln was handed a very terrible defense, which all of us fans knew and had been bitching about it for years. Lincoln is a you g coach with a ton of upside and I like the direction that he taking the Sooners. We were simply beaten in the playoffs by better teams, no excuses there.

You know, 17-8 in the SEC really isn't bad for a coach rebuilding from the ground up (Sumlin left a very bare cupboard and what did remain was soft as shite paper). Now if he had gone 17-8 in the Big 12, that would be a VERY different question.

He's only coming up on his 4th year, and this will really be his first team with only his recruits. The future is looking bright, objectively.

We’re fricking killing it in recruiting.

Where are all the OU and TX posters at now?

This post is how you know you are dealing with a school with no history of success.

This poster does not know that Texas has been in the top 10 3 out of the last 4 years, including 2 top 5's. They have 9 4 stars and 1 5 star. We have 10 4 stars. They literally are one 5 star quarterback to or 4 difference.

Act like you been here before.

Riley has done absolutely nothing. And a defense that gets through a big 12 schedule isn't a defense that holds up against the top playoff teams. Jimbo has put great defenses and offenses on the field and has an NC to show for it.

Riley couldn't carry Jimbo's jock with that resume at this point.

I understand. Without a doubt the last few years you’ve played some really tough teams. Up here, the defense had to be rebuilt. We are in year three of a defensive rebuild and hoping to see a really good defense to compliment our typically good offense.

Love how you guys talk shite about our recent record, but then cut out huge chunks when trying to make a point about your team. All those pre Jimbo years count too. If they don't, then you do not get to talk about what we did under Charlie Strong.
