Might it be one of Arkansas quarterbacks?

Whatever helps you sleep at night. So sad you can’t see that your program is the biggest laughingstock in the SEC not located in Texas.

And then Nico
isn't Nico already backdoor talking to the Washington Huskies or something?

Yes.
He's jumping ship after next weekend.
This has been the year of the SportsVols, and they all ended in a similar fashion
McDonald's bags of cash remain a pending issue that will have a lasting effect, while the rest of the SEC is growing stronger
Heupel jumps ship in DEC. It's just a near fact for his own ego and future success

They can’t afford him.

Nope. This year was an accident to begin with.
Yes, you're right about that part then there is the blowup part that have happened when fans went crazy and saying we will be champions near the end of the season for each of their major sports when those teams crashed and burned right before the end of the season.

Hmm having followed Heup after Frost left, he will always field a top tier offense. He has not been able to field a defense. It really comes down to, can Tenner find a defense during Heup’s tenure

To go where? The NFL? In the mid season? That’s dumb. Another college? For what? He has everything he needs in Knoxville.

2 out of 3 SEC titles and a second place finish. And none of it was expected. Not a bad year with a bright future on the horizon.

It will be an impediment to Bama hiring Pruitt. Other than that it’s way overblown.

His ego is comfortable in Knoxville and future success is here for the taking.

But if you look at UCF, he has been able to plug in new guys and have success. He had that one guy that was good until he blew out his knee, ended up at fsu, Gabriel at ou was really good, then hooker, the hype is reasonable the next QB will be decent

Heupel's offense is both QB friendly and unfriendly. Let me explain what I mean... The main reason Milton started over Hooker was that Milton had command of the offense before Hooker. Hooker struggled a little bit to learn it but once he got it down he took off. And the difference between his first year in the offense and his second was mind blowing even though both seasons put up gaudy numbers.
Also, it needs to be kept in mind that Hooker played and started at VA Tech. Go on compare the TDs.
Point being the Heupel's offense can definitely make a QB. It gets guys open - wide open at times - and even just a decent QB can throw to that.

That game made me remember why I wasn't unhappy to see him leave MU.
That offence moves so fast that if you get a 3 and out or two the D is gassed.
It is fun to watch but seems a little gimmicky.
