Has Fisher let Chavis go yet?

Hoping Chavis isn't our guy, but it sounds like we're in kind of a Mexican stand off over his buyout if he is. Hoping to hear Fisher has kicked him, and then crickets on a DC from Fayetteville.

Just from hearsay here, he was extended last year, so still under contract. If we hire him away, we pay buyout. If Fisher doesn't retain him, no buyout, but I don't know if any of that is true.

Chavis is legit terrible. If I were a Hogg fan I would be literally praying Arkansas doesn't hire him.

I believe he has 1 year left guaranteed. Smart thing would be to reassign him so if Arky really wants him they pay

I hope aTm plays that game, and it's a dealbreaker. I'd rather have a young unknown DC than Chavis.

I think there was talk about Grinch, wish it would have happened. Sounds like he's willing to be Meyer's gopher for a year until Schiano lands somewhere.

Would be tits, but not happening. Vegetables might have come as HC, just can't see him making a lateral move to Fayetteville, unless he and Dabo have problems.

Right. A&M (Fisher) needs to officially part ways and resolve his fully guaranteed contract buyout that he supposedly signed in August.

I wouldn't worry as much, but pretty sure Aggy Chad's offense won't be much different than Rumlin's and will probably have similar results. Hell, he can't possibly be worse than what we've had the last 2 seasons.
