One of my favorite things about Harvard is they don't offer a B.S in engineering and science majors.

They offer a S.B. lol

You going to have explain what the hell a S.B. is to a lot of recruiters.

Harvard doesn't offer civil or chemical engineering, traditional engineering disciplines offered by most large public unversities like Clemson.

It looks like a token engineering college.

No joke.. one of our interns a few years back was an English Major from Harvard and took a job on our high yield desk

Sometimes they don’t even give a shite about the degree just the name of the school

I’d like to see the average salary of the Clemson graduate compared to the Harvard graduate.

Better yet, I would like to see how many applications each puts in compared to offers.

I would guess that there are many more unemployed Clemson graduates compared to Harvard graduates. Percentage and overall.

Traditionally, liberal arts majors have been qualified for many white-collar professions.

I'd like to see that too, and correct for cost of living.

Harvard people more likely to stay in northeast or west coast cities that have crazy high COL and taxes.

If Clemson's engineering college is much larger than Harvard's, why would engineering employers think of Harvard first?

The organization that creates the professional engineering exams required to get a license is located in Clemson, not Cambridge. :)

lol

are you a liberal Democrat? You seem to have the hots for northeastern colleges and cities. i assume there is some kind of political connection.

I'm sure there will be some advantage in having a degree from MIT if you want to stay in Boston or the northeast. I think a Clemson degree is an advantage if you want to stay in SC and the southeast, b/c of the networking angle.

No. No. No.

MIT engineering degree >>>>>>>>>> Clemson engineering degree

No matter where. Clemson has zero advantage in that field.

Get your head out of your arse.
