I'm sort of like the South Carolina basketball of NCAA. I beat a lot of shitty players and develop quite the ego. When I run across a competent adversary I get my arse kicked and it's really hard to admit that I just wasn't any good in the first place

IIRC he missed a game winning field goal

I still fondly remember the kickoff return I had with Mike Davis against Rubble the first year. It was a thing of beauty.

Kodar was more frustrating than Rubble imo, that fricking read option

Yea, I only play FIFA/NBA a few times a week after the wife passes out at night.

I would say it's embarrassing, but I'm not embarrassed at all.

We need to start an online franchise when The Show 16 comes out. You down?

Yep, whenever my wife tells me how embarrassing it is that I play video games at age 30 I ask her if she'd rather my non-professional habit be looking at porn or gambling.

One of the only arguments I ever win.

He's a damn good player, both on the sticks and with his gameplan. Nasty/aggressive defense, multiple on offense.

I'm more of a tactician/dinker and dunker. My on-stick skills aren't elite, so I compensate by running lots of different plays out of similar looking sets to keep the defense guessing. Usually keep the plays themselves simple and exploit mismatches quickly, taking what the defense gives me. Long drives to shorten the game, etc.

On defense I just try to keep everything in front of me and prey on the pass.

He used UGA and I was using Mizzou. He beat me by a touchdown.

Wow, I never would've guessed, haha. UGA vs. Mizzou would be a great matchup to see!

My style of play resides with the offense. I always prefer to have a great offensive line to make holes for my running backs. Once I run all over them with the running game, then I take deep shots down the field with my receivers when they least expect it. On the other side of the ball, I just try my best to sack the QB on defense. I set up a lot of plays to defend against their passing attack while having the defensive line blitz inside and give pressure to the QB.

I matched up well with Kodar (probably because I also mix in a good amount of read option).

Had him dead to rights and let him off the hook on the final drive because I didn't want to risk calling timeout and stopping the clock. Threw the game winning TD pass with 4 ticks left

Definitely. However, I'm hit or miss on playing. I generally decide to play 1-2 times a week for an hour or so before my old arse passes out.

The Show is my favorite game, though. I get so in the weeds with that thing from prospects to trades to free agent depth crap that I look up and realize it's 1 AM and I gotta get up in 5:30 hours.

Had 14 up until last year. Was by far the best sports series ever made. I'd always play my first two or three seasons with LSU, then I'd start a new one and use like Tulane or Ohio, some bottom tier mid major and try to make them power house until I recieved an invite to a better conference
