Can't wait to watch the beating from Kyle Field next Thanksgiving weekend.

It’s a shame that this alter was created 2 days ago so we can’t see what you were saying prior to the LSU game this year.

I’d argue Chad Morris because he had players on a football team expected to play football and literally did nothing with them. He may have even gone in to the negative on how much he did.

Yes! I am here for all of this.

That’s your contribution? Do you have an opinion ?Any expectations for your team and coach? Are you satisfied with 3.5 loses per year by Jimbo per his average in aggieland? If you are going to take the time to comment then let’s hear your thoughts if you have any

Their teams have won their division consistently, Oklahoma has won their conference consistently, both have been to the playoffs regularly, and Georgia played for Natty. How does that compare to Jimbo averaging 3.5 losses per year since he took over A&M ? You would think that Texas 8&4 fans would be unhappy , but they seem content. Only Hugh McElroy stepped up in this thread . The rest haven’t answered and continue to deflect

You’ve got a point. He couldn’t get Treylon Burks in the endzone

They have not won a Natty.

We have had 2 bafoons win a Natty in the last 14 years and played in another.

I expect a better record for sure. Will it be next year? I'm not sure. Do I think that Jimbo has changed the culture? Yes, but still needs to do some more. Is A&M building depth that they have never had before? yes. I do believe that if Jimbo can keep recruiting at a high level that the Aggies will become competitive, but aren't there just yet. That's my honest take on it, throw your daggers.

Thank you. Great response. I’m not sure why that is so difficult for your other fans in this thread

You are correct. Jimbo knows what it takes to win a natty and that is a JFF kind of talent with a high football IQ. He has yet to have that type of qb yet at a&m but I am sure he will get one at some point.

If A&M is truly irrelevant, like some of them say over and over again, why do they talk about the Aggies so much? Why do they care?

You want A&M fans opinions? My opinion is - this is obviously not a well thought out question. Have you researched Georgia or Florida recruiting rankings compared to expectations and on field results?

Or are you so fixated on A&M that you forgot about other programs?

In 2020 Jimbo did more with less by finishing 9-1 and #4. This year A&M beat the only team they lost to last year (Bama), but overall fell short of expectations after QB injury exposed a glaring hole at backup QB. The QB depth issue has been corrected, as you are well aware.

But Current LSU AD Woodward went hard after Jimbo, and offered him a truckload of money to come to LSU, which he declined. But LSU folks sure seem salty about A&M these days.

So yeah, we understand why these threads exist…

Man there is a lot of deflecting in that novel you just wrote. All I want to know is if you are happy with the job that Jimbo has done so far being your coach, and if 3.5 losses per year is satisfactory. 34-14 in 4 years is 3.5 losses per year. Your rambling is noted

Happy? No

Not calling for his head either. If in another 2 years we still are producing 3-4 losses, id personally be ready to move on.

Currently satisfactory? I’d say “needs improvement”

Realistically, elite quarterback play is needed to carry an elite record and ranking more often than not.

Will be anxious to see how he handles the qb situation next year

Thank you for your response. You are only the 3rd Aggie with a thought out articulated response. One Aggie said this class will produce no less than 1 playoff appearance and a possible natty. However , if it doesn’t then I think you guys turn on Jimbo faster than Daniel hits his knees for Bama.
