got bigger fish to fry than the oppressed lives of people in America. The world is so cruel. Maybe take it down to around 1 or 2 black/gay story a week. Not everyday. It's unbearable.

Cam says he didn't dive on the ball because it could have hurt his leg and because there are plenty of QBs who don't sell out trying to tackle the guy after they throw a pick (which in his defense is okay most of the time, but not when you have a chance to win the Super Bowl!). And then he tried to explain away his shitty attitude by saying something like "Im not going to hold myself to any of your expectations because they are nothing compared to mine." I guess you can take that a couiple ways, but the big emphasis for me is how selfish Cam is as a player.
I was nuetral towards Cam before this honestly, his college career never bothered me because it was fun to watch and had no bearing on the Vols success. But now im not a fan.
Also, something I hate is that almost every story about the Super bowl this year is about race. It's a football game damn none of that should matter

Cam was built up to be more than maybe anyone could be. He'll be fine. Elway was tremendous, but it took years for him to win a SB.

I didn't get the race/black QB breaking barriers conversation before this SB. I guess Russell Wilson was waving his hand in the back of the bus.
That said, how bad a guy must Cam have been to get kicked off the Florida team. Aaron Hernandez says hello to that too.
For the record I believe Newton will be a force in the league until he turns 30 and his wheels start creaking. Take away the run threat and he will less than average.

Just admit it, dude. You were wrong about Cam going into the draft. He is no where near the bust you wanted him to be. There is no way he is not starting and putting up godly numbers in 5 years, barring injury. Your hate for Cam and need to see him fail is pathetic.

Bottom line is that CAM choked in the biggest game of his life. If people thought he was the best QB in the NFL, the SuperBowl just proved that thought a fantasy. He pretty much sucked. So did Peyton, but Peyton had a defense on his team.

Cam is probably going to win a super bowl and more than just one MVP. The OP is dumb, but you can't act like a kid when you lose, and you HAVE to give effort to go after that ball. He is also very young and will mature... I hope.

Has there ever been a player caught on film blatantly quitting on his team in a bigger event than Cam jumping away from the football he fumbled in the Super Bowl?
