Harvard: you will have to search high and low to even find an undergraduate who gives a damn about football. It would be a bit easier for hockey or crew ( at least for Head of the Charles). Harvard is 3/4 kids who only care about getting to med school or law school or to a big NY financial firm, 1/8th legacies who just care about getting high, and 1/8 academics, some of whom are sort of normal.
Standing in Cambridge one really doesn't even get a sense of "campus".

I really, really, really hope everyone knows that this was a joke

Perhaps, but there is a reason cliches are such.

Harvard would turn down an SEC invite, so would every other Ivy League school.

r u retarded or somethin

Well the Ivy league doesn't "allow" athletic scholarships so that would have to change, but other than geography, these schools are secure enough in their academic reputation ( unlike big 10 schools) that they wouldn't necessarily reject it for proximity to non-AAU schools ( the horror).

hey, they do have 9 legit national championships in football....and if they follow precedent, they could claim a few others if they wanted to

If that's the determining criteria, we need to go after Princeton. They have 28 (27 legit).
Jersey people would fit in, right?

God forbid if these Ivy league schools gave these poor black kids a chance at a great education. #liberals

100%? No, but I'm pretty sure. There's more prestige in being part of the Ivy League than there is being part of the SEC.

Are you more jealous of their football success, or the fact that they're not ghetto adjacent?

either school's fine. it'd be worth it just to see the looks on their faces when ________ (insert SEC school) fans travel to their stadium....

Cornell = land-grant university. Probably a better fit than the others.

Certainly size-wise, but they are still sort of strange since it is half private and half public, but nice people.
