2010, 2013, 2018, and 2019 are definitely the bottom 5 defensive units for Saban’s Alabama tenure.

So Saban dropped the ball with all that talent those years ?

You be better off spending your time trying to get your pig wife to shed 120 lbs and taking care of your 3 teeth.

I’ve predicted Auburn to finish last in the west.

I think Arkansas has their guy.

Leachs air raid will improve he is getting the right pieces in place

Ole Miss will be good.

Harsin is a bad fit. I’ll be shocked if Auburn has a winning record

Auburn folks are batshit crazy. They're not giving anyone time to "get the right guys" for his system. He'd better win and win now.

And how many millions are you making as a college head coach? That’s right nothing! Doesn’t matter what you think.

There have been a lot of shitty football coaches that made a lot of money because they sucked at their jobs. Auburn’s still paying a few I think.

With the way you guys have handled the last couple of contract extensions & immediate firings, I wouldn’t be shocked if you were still paying Terry Bowden.

Well, the entirety of last year’s staff - to include Gus Malzahn, Kevin Steele, & Chad Morris, to name a few.

I'd be a little surprised if they even win a conference game.

Ah I see. You don’t know how college fb contracts work. Good to know you keep the bama Auburn delusions going though…any others or was that the extent of the search?

I don’t? Two of those guys aren’t even coaching college football right now because Auburn is paying them. The other guy’s money was basically guaranteed.

Gus Malzahn?

quote:

The other half of the balance will paid in equal, annual installments of approximately $2.68 million over the next four years.

Malzahn is under no requirement to mitigate those payments, and the university has no right to offset those payments regardless of whether Malzahn accepts a new job elsewhere or not, meaning he is owed every penny of that money.

Kevin Steele, who isn’t coaching because he’s getting paid by Auburn, isn’t getting paid by Auburn?

quote:

Steele spends most days at his island home off the coast of South Carolina, the terms of his buyouts with Auburn and Tennessee making it financially unfeasible for him to take a full-time job this season.

LINK

Chad Morris? He’s a high school coach now. He was bad enough that Auburn should make him pay them. But I don’t think that’s happening.

quote:

Chad Morris — offensive coordinator
At Auburn since: 2020

2020 salary: $735,000

Contract expires: Jan. 31, 2023

Buyout: $1.47 million. If he leaves for another job on his own, he would owe Auburn the same amount (unless he becomes a head coach).
