Man, you do not know football despite your claims. The entire point of the spin and motion is to confuse the LBs, watch their reaction. They almost tripped over themselves trying to adjust to their assignments. That is usually how a QB reads where the weakness is in a defense and what type of coverage they are in. Not a trick play.

So the players split out wide are doing spinneroonies towards the sideline to confuse the LBs?
Got it. Brilliantly executed. Really got ‘em messed up. The defense surely didn’t get lined up properly after that, did they? I can’t tell - I don’t know football.

No, the spin is to get the attention the backside part of the Defense. The QB is watching to see the Defense the are in . Notice the long hair defender and initially where he goes. My guess is he is an important draw away from the play. They didn't want him crashing the LOS. How did the play end?

He hasn’t coached a game. I know your shorts are on fire about Auburn, but let’s wait and see.
But I’m excited you have it figured out. Can you give your future seeing skills on some lotto numbers?

It was a designed run play to the wide side of the field from the get go. They simply flipped the strong side to create a numbers mismatch if the defense didn’t align properly. The spin didn’t serve any purpose at all. The defense ended up sliding with the offense and it was a hat for a hat on the strong side. The offense won.
The spin was stupid. It looked stupid. It served no purpose. That is all.

Your commitment to this is laudable.

Again, you show your ignorance. The spin looked stupid to the ignorant ( your category) but it was used to cause reaction by the Defense. You see it in every game, but you are too busy watching the QB or scores from other games.

This is correct. The spin is empty window dressing.

Nailed it. Also I believe this is still a run-pass option play depending on how the defense reacts. If one of the worse linebackers/cbs is in a mismatch they will run a PA play.

The QB doesn’t even look up at the defense or check alignment after the shift.
How do you people breathe without assistance?

I feel like this one is just a time killer. I expect one intended to drive LSU fans mad for at least 40 pages any day now.

Just because multiple retards are retarding together doesn’t mean anything.

A: the play is at 2:19:47 not 2:20.
B: Herbstreit, who ACTUALLY played college football/football at all is impressed with the play. He also ACTUALLY has a real award(emmy) not a fake sad made up one.
C: Yes the QB does read every CB/LB when they shift and after they are set. The call he uses will determine which one they use.

No, he doesn’t. Watch the play. He never does anything but walk to the line and snap the ball as soon as his players are set.
