Roberts will continue to improve as well. He is a dude and can handle the load. I think we have the best RB coach in CFB, Luper will get the next man up ready to go!!

It will come. You want to see the team improve in September, not peak.

There are rumblings he just wants to go straight into the draft. Selfishly I want to see him play this year. As far as where teams would take him, maybe 3rd round? I don't know because the injury plus the fact that we've had a string of great running backs the past few years that were just back-ups in the league.

The problem with RBs in the NFL is they have a tough time getting that massive 2nd contract which makes the first contract so important. Hardy really needs to have a Jenty type of year before he is drafted. It not only makes him more money on his first contract, but it hiloghts his worth for the 2nd contract.

Hardy would be best served getting the guaranteed NIL bag next year and balling out. He will have a safety net in case he really can’t play to his previous level ever again.

Thing is, he'll never quite be what he was. He can get to 99% but that last 1% is gone for good. Maybe that makes a difference. Or maybe it won't. But he needs to find out.
