We will see. I think when all is said and done, Auburn isn’t going to be one of the better teams in the league this year. So small sample size.

However, that spin move and rollout Bennett did on Bryant On our opening scoring possession when Auburn did a zero blitz was more athletic than anything Fromm executed in the 43 games he played for us.

Fair question. Has trask had to do that yet?

I understand that you don't watch Florida football but we legitimately couldn't rush against an FCS team last year.

He made all six touchdowns against Ole Miss.

ETA: He is actually the only reason our offense has functioned so far. I don't even know if Mullen would be our coach if Franks had continued to play. We would have definitely lost the game against Kentucky (for the second straight year) if Franks didn't get injured.

we'll see if he's actually a good Quarterback. Down 7, needs to go the length of the field with passes only?

That wont be a problem for Stet.

His issue is pressure with 4 linemen (like most QBs).
His issue is reading 5 and 6 man pass rushes presnap and being on the same page with a young receiving corp without a lot of summer work.

Making the throws and leading the offense with a little time is not Bennett's problem.

I'm not so sure you have any evidence to support that. Stetson hasn't had to move the ball with his arm very much this season and I watched the Auburn game, you guys moved the ball at will rushing.

Even in Arkansas, their defense was flat out gassed in the second half and all that needed to be done was lean.

We aren’t talking about fcs football straws.

Does trask have any game winning or tying drives down 7 in the 4th?

We scored 25 in the 2nd half of Arkansas on his arm.

We scored 24 in the first half of Auburn in a more balanced attack. That game was in hand and we (and auburn) bled the clock in the 2nd half.

That seems to be the narrative.
The reality is that the first half time of possession was split evenly and we made adjustments (both personnel and playcalling) and executed like a more talented team in the second half.

It's amazing how much better an offense is without 11 penalties, 2 fumbled snaps, and an OL that actually blocks the assigned man.

"Passing to win" does not mean, exclusively, that exact framed scenario.

Every game Trask plays he is passing to win, because we can't run anywhere near the same level of Georgia. Your argument relies on the strictness of the framing you've applied.

Oh, and Stetson Bennett is no Kyle Trask. Not by any stretch. Switch teams and we're losing most of our games and you guys are going to win a National Championship.

I don't even necessarily think D'wan was the reason for any of that, and feel he could have done the same. When he was in, the offense was snakebit and you could kind of tell things just weren't gelling.

I feel kind of bad for him.

I guess your HC was clueless about not using him last year?

Yes, because the HC calls the offensive plays.

Again the first half of the Arkansas game proved your head coach didn't make the changed til very close to half time. Then the offense lit up big time!

Bennett is relying on his playmakers just like Trask.

Take away Pitts and Toney and Trask is having a Fromm 2019 season.

I agree that Trask is leading the team offensively. In a way different from most of our UGA teams under Kirby.

But Trask is heavily dependent upon the offensive weapons around him. Same as Fromm was. NCG, our offense stopped when Wims got hurt. SECCG, our offense stopped when Holloman got hurt. 2019, Fromm's QBR with and without Cager were like 2 different players.

Trask is great. But he still needs those pieces to look like he does.

He's broke several records at QB, and sure he has an amazing ensemble but he's also third when being pressured. He puts the ball exactly where it needs to go, and the receivers make the plays they're supposed to.

He now holds the highest completion % of any Gator Quarterback.

Yes, including the Heisman Quarterbacks. Spurrier to Tebow.

Well this just isn’t true.

Stetson Bennett on 3rd down this year:

12/17, 171 yards, 1 TD

Stetson Bennett's QB rating by down...

1st Down: 146.22
2nd Down: 128.12
3rd Down: 171.28

3rd and 7-9: 291.70
3rd and 10+: 187.52

True. But that is the exact framed scenario you presented. We don’t know if trask can do it, do we?

Have you actually watched the LSU games this year? If you have and thought Brennan doesn’t look light years better than from the past 3 years you should choose a different sport to watch because you don’t know shite

yeah. I watched Mississippi State kick LSU's arse and Brennan looked scared, not to mention very erratic.

Speaking of erratic I read that he is completing 60% of his passes in the 2 games and that's vs Miss. State and Vanderbilt. Congratulations?
