Still
They struggled against these two teams and that does translate over.

Hopefully we take care of business and Nico doesn’t turn the ball over.

If their defense is really amped up, they would easily would have taken cared of Houston and Tulane.
Their local insiders are in straight-shot denial
Realistic Sooner fans are very concerned about this game.

Y'all have no idea how it's going to crush the Sooner faithful if Tennessee smacks that arse. I know these people. They honestly cannot process an arse-whoopin. It's like their dog died.
They are already unspokenly second guessing this whole SEC thing, never mind NIL and portals, etc. Their internal voices are telling them they'll never make it without the Red's Car Lot advantage. And they probably won't actually.
They take it so bad I've actually felt sorry for them before, I mean they are pitiful and say words like "momma" under their breath. So if you're the no mercy type and would take great sociopathic joy in pushing a whiny, pouting beyotch off a bridge, you may get your chance.

Do you have any idea what conference this is?
Oklahoma is 15-11 against the SEC not including A&M/missouri/texas
Furthermore, plenty of brand names OOC have visited Norman over the years.

I don’t see what OU has shown this year to imply they’ll come out with a W
We’ll find out soon enough, that’s why the game is played, but on paper it’s hard to argue against Tennessee here

That's not going to matter unless Stoops (who understood the SEC) is the head coach.
About the find out the hard way of being in the SEC.

Now you know why Lincoln Riley got the head start and left;he knows how tough the SEC is.

This is laughable and stupid.

Tennessee would put up more points in the NFL than the New Orleans Saints right now. They're that good.

Nico has never played against a pro style defense like Venables runs. Briles style offenses don’t require QBs to read defenses the ball goes where the play says it does. BV defenses have huge success vs this style of offense because there are so many different looks and blitz packages. If the LBs and DEs get past the LOS or the DBs take away the first read, nico and QBs that run that system typically don’t fare well. Especially inexperienced QBs. You TN fans have no idea how your QB will look vs a Venables defense. Just like us OU fans have no idea what the real OU offense looks like because the OL and WRs have been decimated by injury. We aren’t on here shite talking like it’s a sure win.

Anybody with a brain would pick Tulane and Houston over NC state right now on a neutral field.
Tulane maybe, Houston absolutely not. They looked absolutely useless against vs UNLV.

You're completely discounting the Iowa game.
Nico KNOWS HOW TO READ DEFENSES so you are grossly underestimating him
You go tell that the QBs of the cupcake teams you guys struggled against because they found holes in the defense.
You're overconfidence is showing.

Warned about what
This is the SEC, where we play DEFENSE
Oklahoma is no longer in the BIG XII!
I bet you Oklahoma State could probably boatrace them.
