coach, Wayne kept the ledger. And dispensed the stipends. And he was not happy being let go from his coaching career. And cooler, smarter people stepped in on his behalf. And you know who told me after he changed sides. It's the assistant coaches who make the deals and handle the paying. This booster crap is BS. No SEC assistant or head coach is going to let a booster get control or access to their players or prospects. That's the kiss of death. And a sure one way trip out of coaching.

Edit-I'd beat him like a rented mule gambling on the electronic bowling machine and, as you know, back then money was hard to come by!
