Do people posting here realize that he needed to borrow money because he was the victim of theft. It has been now reported that his car was broken into and items worth a few hundred dollars were stolen. There is a police report to back up his claim. This was not a normal routine situation but an extraordinary one. Not saying it was right or justified but everyone should understand why the need came up to borrow some money immediately.

Damn the REC works fast.

If he's paying for the car with his"pell grant$$"...........he has full coverage, which typically covers theft. What did he need the $$ for so bad? An iPad, free Nike gear, speakers? Still don't see why the $$ was needed because his car was broken into?

Clinton-Dix has provided bank records to UA athletic compliance department representatives that show a withdrawal in the amount he said he repaid to Harris, The Tuscaloosa News has learned.

Okay hmmmmmmmm which withdrawal matches the amount I was given. There it is. See that one there was when I paid him back. I promise.

Exactly. In comparison to giving a player 180,000 to play for your school, or having a recruit's grades changed to get him eligible, this isn't even a tiny blimp on the radar.
