Gun to your head and you still picked Moo State to finish 2nd... because Leach did that elsewhere?

i explained that if we can do what we did with a bunch of freshman and sophomores against teams with upperclassmen (4 top 25 wins), its going to be a pain train for the rest of the sec when these guys coalesce next season...except for maybe one or two elite teams.

that is why.

the fact that he did it at TT and WSU is just icing on the cake and more of an overall indicator that his system takes 3 off-seasons to master.

For the scoffers, research mike leach’s 3rd year at TT and WSU. He’s gonna do big things and will have a top 3 offense in the nation if rogers stays healthy. Our sophomores and freshman can beat some decent teams with upperclassman…they will likely improve as juniors and sophomores that have laser focus and 2 full years of plundering booty.

Much like our Mizzou fan's favorite slogan, show me? Otherwise, that bulldog won't hunt.

How Mike Leach did in the Big 12 and PAC 12 should mirror how he will do in the SEC West.

Only twice did Leach beat both A&M and t.u. in the same season while at Texas Tech (2002, 2008). Both times they were obliterated by Oklahoma and didn't advance to the title game. (Tied for 3rd in 2002 and Tied for 1st in 2008).

In year 3 at Texas Tech, Leach finished tied for 3rd in the Big 12 South (out of 6 teams).

In year 3 at Washington State, Leach finished tied for 5th in the PAC 12 North (out of 6 teams). That meant he was tied with the last place team.

In all seriousness State should be dangerous next year. Y’all should all know Jaden Walley well next December. I’ll only do the West because who cares about the East.

Someone do a decade long E v W thread to prove the disparity.
South Carolina is 7-3 vs the West teams not named Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M since 2012 (decade) - no doubt much to the jaw-dropping surprise of West fans who apparently like to dickride ALA, LSU, A&M ...

3-0 Arkansas
2-1 Auburn
1-1 Miss St
1-1 Ole Miss

Dak Prescott lost to the Gamecocks, too - but that was 11 years ago and not in the past decade.
