Sure. After being suspended for 4 games.

How many games has Thompson missed so far?

Suspended for what? Being accused?

Are you Dr Ford?

I suppose you'll have to ask Galveston Tx about that one.

He's been indicted, just like Jefferson. Like I said, not the best analogy to use a player that was actually suspended.

Right. So he's been accused but nothing has been proven. Right, Dr Ford?

So now you believe that a citizen of the US is no longer afforded their rights in accordance to the US Constitution?

Next LSU fans will want to give HI back and try and force Tua to be deported. I did not realize you were so scared to play us with that vaunted top 5 team of yours in the swamp.

For actually being indicted for a felony.

Jefferson was indicted for a misdemeanor - and sat out 4 games.

Oh I don’t know, most if not all schools have a policy that if a player is indicted for a felony that they are suspended until the charges are cleared up.

ETA: wait, wait, f that. Not only are universities not ok with players under felony indictment not representing them on the field while the charges are pending, but The GD NFL suspends players for being indicted for felonies as well!

Didnt know that Bama Doesn’t subscribe to this policy.

How far does it go? Can you be indicted for felony sexual assault and still play at Bama, I mean technically the accused isn’t convicted of anything?

Where is the line drawn with that program?

Are y’all going to suspend that backup OL for the DUI arrest from this past weekend? If so, why? Is it because he’s not as valuable to the team because he’s a backup and expendable? I mean DUI, in this instance, is a misdemeanor.

He's been charged with a felony and is still playing football for Alabama.

Bama fans casting stones on the SEC Rant is hilarious.

The gump using Jefferson as some sort of "got ya" analogy was money.

Maybe you do not understand the definition of the term indicted or maybe the state of LA does not believe in due process.

Bro, I now exactly what the word means. Means it went before a grand jury and they chose to charge aka indictment.

Read my post above.

Y’all are the only program- College or Pro- that allows players indicted with felonies to continue to represent your team while the charges are still pending

You need to educate yourself.

We held a team vote and he was allowed back on. What is the problem?

It means he was formally accused based on the jury's findings that a trail is warranted. So probable cause was found but no where does it state he is guilty.

Educate myself on what that you believe the system is correct that you should be suspended without being proven guilty? The hell with the 5th amendment and due process. We do not care if they find you innocent but we will take away everything you have earned to this point because you have been accused. This is the reason our society is so screwed up now.

You need to stop drinking that swamp water.

Thompson is innocent until proven guilty. Video evidence exists that will prove his innocence. He shouldn't be punished by Bama prior to the trial when it appears that he is innocent.
