Richard Rodriguez is the worst coach in Michigan football history.
They are getting manhandled by a Purdue team that got thrashed last week by Wisky.
Be thankful he did not come to the Tide . . very thankful.

I am very happy he didn't come here. Michigan is ready to show him the door I'm sure.

I still say its too soon to fire him in Michigan. All he has to work with is the type of recruits that the Big Slow Ten typically gets. Give him another year to get the type of people he needs to run the spread like at WVU and I think he will own the Big Ten.

1. They are losing to a bad Purdue team at home after getting demolished by a worse Illinois team on the road last week.
2. Their defense looks worse than ours and Arkansas combined.
3. The fans their are not patient. They have only 1 conference win this year, and he is their worst coach ever so far.
4. The alumni, many don't like him and the power brokers are split on him. Some want Brian Kelly of the Nati others want Les the Mess.
He can't succeed their, to many factors against him, he may not get one more season to do it.

I agree... With the right personel, the spread would dominate the Big-10... There has been zero evolution in that conference... They are stuck in the past, as you can tell by their stagnated performances of the past decade...

It's like the Fran hire for Texas A&M. It looked great when he was hired, but was a mess as soon as he started coaching games.

RR will be gone in the near future but he may make it another year. They want to replace him but they'd have to pay his buyout this season if they fired him, if they wait for the NCAA to nail them they can fire him and save a few bucks as they have a contract clause that states he must not get in trouble or no payout when he is canned.
It will be interesting to see who they hire, Miles was mentioned along with Richt but I don't think they'll get the phone call.
