2:30 cbs would be my guess. Other good game that day would be OM and south carolina.

Yeah, I'm afraid of that. I'm going to that game for sure. I'll be sitting in a box for the first time...
Looks like I will probably miss the N. Texas game due to work. I guess thats the best one to miss though.

Yours were in weak SWC. No AP/BCS-UPI titles.Winning series records against private schools in SWC. Losing record againdt OU,Texas,LSU,Tenn.Georgia,Florida,Bama,and Auburn.

The old SWC was a very good conference. Texas, Arkansas, and A&M are all top 20 all-time programs, and SMU was very good before they got the death penalty. The other teams in the conference, such as Baylor, etc., were no different than your Vandy's and MSU's - probably better.
It was nothing like today's SEC....but then again, even the SEC was nothing like TODAY's SEC.
