Grubb

Grubb beat Dan Lanning.

Twice.

This board told me that that fact alone makes someone the unquestioned GOAT and the best we could ever hope to have at Alabama.

Ryan Grubb didn't whiff on two blocks allowing the Tennessee defenders free reign to tee off on Brown. Players have to execute the plays for them to be successful.
You don’t get it.

Why are the players confused on blocking assignments?

It’s not like that’s even uncommon, it happens frequently.

Well they weren't confused. We're talking basic things every TE should know or OL?

Every OL is taught to when a DL is going across your face, pas him off and get back because someone else is coming. Our LG and C just kept attaching because they were getting their butt whipped so it made those twist work to perfection.

Every TE is taught in goalline or short situations you don't double down to the LB if the plays calls for it because there will most likely be a LB or DL in front of you. You give the call the OT is solo and you base block the guy ahead.

These things are literally taught first camp in college.

Now why Josh Ford doubled? Ask him.

Watch the 4th and 1 play.

Both TE didn’t block him. One or the other should have but didn’t. They were looking for someone else to block.

We see guys coming clean to the RB or the QB constantly.

I don’t know if it’s communication x is passed off to y because of a shift that isn’t heard or said, or the play call or what. Something is off.
