That’s funny. It hurts but it’s funny.

Just for fun I'll be that guy. Fourth down efficiency is sitting at 75% with the Tennessee game included. Depending on who you believe it is considered excellent. Even elite. Getting 5/5 against UGA got everyone over the moon.

Losing a game to a good team by 3 and then having absolutely no answer for mid SEC team who we used to beat on the reg.? Is that elite?

Even offensive minded coaches like Mike Leach … may the Pirate RIP … had plays specifically designed to get you short yardage, as efficiently and uncomplicatedably as possible, when you absolutely must have a yard or two or three.

I was addressing the topic, 4th down performance. And doing so tongue in cheek. Maybe lighten up a bit. The world hasn’t ended.

I was frustrated with Grubb on Saturday like everyone else, but some context on those 4th Down plays is needed.

Ryan Grubb didn't step on Keelon's foot preventing him from handing the ball off to Hill.

Ryan Grubb didn't whiff on two blocks allowing the Tennessee defenders free reign to tee off on Brown.

Players have to execute the plays for them to be successful.
