Not only is this not a criminal proceeding, but hearsay is used as evidence in criminal proceedings all the time

It’s pretty obvious that you aren’t an attorney

There are many hearsay exceptions. Excited utterances, opponent party admissions, etc.

Plenty of hearsay evidence is admissible.

Agreed.

They didn't want him as their coach, and they used the Penn State thing as a scapegoat.

Tennessee, and their fans, are an embarrassment.

Jerry Sandusky trial: Alleged victim says PSU coach Tom Bradley might have been 'suspicious' of pair showering
quote:

During intense cross-examination by Jerry Sandusky's attorney at the former coach's child molestation trial today, alleged Victim 4 testified that former assistant football coach Tom Bradley once saw him showering with Jerry Sandusky and refused to leave the two alone.

So you expect Bradley to admit he knew about Sandusky for all those years and didn't say anything? Hey guys sorry I have remained quiet for decades about our coach raping children at the stadium locker room but McQueary is right I know all about it. My bad

McQueary is the one individual who, by his own admission, failed to notify proper authority. So yeah, whatever he says should be looked at suspiciously. McQueary wouldn't be the first person accused of a crime to try to deflect attention away from himself by trying to shift the focus on someone else or to say someone else was also complicit.

Victim said Bradley did not say anything, but lingered. Victim speculated Bradley was suspicious something bad was going on and stayed to make sure it did not.

Bradley denied that too. Who do you believe there, the kid who was raped repeatedly for years, or the guy who worked for decades at PSU?

All of this also makes it plausible that Bradley could have named Schiano just for the sake of deflecting the focus from himself. None of this makes anything Bradley says credible...and that would include what McQueary alleges Bradley told him.

Maybe because he didn’t know But even if someone told they saw something what is supposed to do? Call the cops and say some one told me they saw something? Literally nothing the cops can do about that.

I have no idea with out knowing the details. Did the kid know Bradley before? If so that’s different then if he later identified Bradley as the guy who saw him.

Literally nothing? You're now confusing Mqueary and Bradley. Bradley allegedly, according to the kid who was being raped, saw them in the shower. Can the police not do anything about an eye witness account of a child rape? Is victim number 4 lying about Bradley seeing them in the shower?

Really a lot of schools do terrible things to try to be great. It is the greed factor and I imagine almost every P5 school covers up things like rape for their student athletes. Casting stones about morals is foolish at best for college athletics.

https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/21579125/tennessee-volunteers-no-longer-hire-greg-schiano-head-coach
Last year, Tennessee reached a $2.48 million settlement of a federal lawsuit brought by a group of women who sued the school for the way it handled their allegations of sexual assaults by student-athletes. The suit alleged that the school violated Title IX regulations and created a "hostile sexual environment" through a policy of indifference toward assaults by student-athletes.

Well

Prosecutors loved McQueary. “Mike McQueary was one of the best, if not the best, … non-law enforcement witnesses I ever had,” Jonelle Harter Eshbach, of the attorney general’s office, once testified.

Hell, Bradley, the guy that contradicted McQueary, testified that he didn’t see anything. Then one of the victims came forward and said that Bradley straight up saw Sandusky molesting him.

I don’t know how anyone can look at the Penn State scandal and conclude that anyone is trustworthy except for McQueary

Victim Four Testimony

quote:

He described the post-workout showers. He said they progressed in a matter of weeks from naked bearhugs and wrestling matches to slow caresses with the mentor guiding the boy’s hand all over his body. Ultimately, it progressed to Sandusky compelling the boy to perform oral sex on him, he testified. “It was basically like, whatever happened there, never really happened,” Victim 4 said.

quote:

The sexual encounters were always initiated by Sandusky, he emphasized. There were several close calls, Victim 4 said. Sandusky’s former Nittany Lions coaching colleague, Tom Bradley, unexpectedly joined the pair in the coaches’ shower, Victim 4 recalled. Bradley made a point of staying there until they left. “I thought he was suspicious,” Victim 4 said of Bradley.

Agreed. Just look at the two sides and ask yourself who has more to gain by lying.

McQueary says Bradley told him about Shiano. Victim number 4 says Bradley saw Sandusky and himself literally in the shower together. Bradley says no I never said that about Shiano and I never saw them in the shower. I will not admit that I knew about child rape for decades and kept quiet.

This isn't hard people.
