I would rather frick over the future of a man, that was never found guilty, and have a “good” football coach for my team, than suffer through more years of losing and not having the “clout” on an Internet message board.

How some people can go about their day, continue to deny that, and sleep well at night, knowing they had a hand in it, and bought into it, is fricking disturbing.

Saban has turned the SEC into a madhouse. This conference used to have multiple top notch coaches. Now it's just Nick and huge gap then Gus, Kirby and maybe Mullen then a bunch of meh.

I thought everyone was mad because he's not a good coach?

Well no shite. Peyton Manning liked to dilly dilly trainers and nobody from there gives a shite.

One of the funniest posters on this site.

You’re better and smarter than this, Vols.

Of course it’s true. You would be on your knees taking Gruden to the root, regardless if he was in a similar situation.

Guess what? Now no coach worth a frick is coming to Tennessee. You can book that. So enjoy grabbing those cankles bro.

Posts from another thtead:
quote:

What if McQuery is lying? What if his memory is incorrect? What if Bradley is lying? What if Bradley’s memory is incorrect? What if Schiano told someone else and they covered it up?

quote:

All true and good defenses in a court of law where you need to meet a high standard.

However, if you are making a hire to be the face of your program you do not need to meet the same standard.

McQuery was the star witness for prosecution of Sandusky. His testimony was weighed as one of the most daming aspects that lead to convictions beyond Sandusky.

The timeline: John Doe 101 , in the deposition, claimed that several staff and coaches walked in while he was in the shower with Sandusky --roughly 88-90.

Others victims said he did this as well before (police reports from the 80's.) And he continued this same practice at least until the mid 90s (specifically in the shower room.)

Now McQuery relayed what he was told by someone else. Someone who said Schiano had seen events that we now know were actually occurring in this time frame at the very specific location mentioned in the deposition of one of the victims. BTW these showers were for coaches and were locked and not available to non-staff.

McQuery did this under oath. If he did not know who the names were, why risk perjury?

Finally, the Sandusky Story broke in 2011 and Schiano was asked if he knew about Sandusky and allegations of child abuse. He said he did not want to "get into all that" and would not comment.

He only tweeted a denial after his name was released in 2016 when the depositions were made public.

None of that would be enough to convict a man. But it sure would be enough not to hire him.

I don't see why any coach worth a damn would now want to go to Tennessee.

Go frick yourself. You don't know a fricking thing about me or what I stand for.

I wouldn't support Robert fricking Neyland if he saw a child get raped and did nothing to stop it.

Dumbass UT fans didn't want Schiano because he's not Gruden. Rehashing some vague hearsay about Schiano having heard rumors of Sandusky when he was 25 was just their way of getting rid of him so they could return to their fairyland dreams.

UT looks like even more of a shite show now that no one credible will want. Leach is probably your best bet since he actually enjoys shite shows.

But you would support Robert Neyland if there was no evidence that he didn’t see a child get raped?

Serious question.

Oh look... John Ziegler was born and raised in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.

Gosh, I wonder if he grew up a Penn State/Joe Pa fan? Betcha he did!

By the way, Ziegler was fired from a radio station in Nashville, Tennessee for using the "n" word.

There is evidence dipshit. There’s testimony from a fellow coach that Schiano saw Sandusky raping a child and did nothing.

He’s a POS.
