If you actually took the time to read what I've already written in this thread about Les Miles's record at LSU, you will see that I have. Getting you to comment on his success at LSU seems to be a lot more of the problem.

I give him a pass on the losses to FSU. The first one was literally game 1 after coming to LSU. The second loss ended up being to one of the national contenders and our defense ended up being trash. If BK doesn’t beat USC to open 2024, then I’ll start really having concern. BK had to rebuild a gutted roster. That takes more than one offseason in the conference. With everything that happened following 2019, I’m feeling cautiously optimistic.

Brian Kelly is getting the proverbial pass with your fan base and you know it. His sample size doesn't come close to Special Ed in accomplishments and Orgeron doesn't come close to Mile's in his accomplishments.

BK’s legacy has yet to be determined. Miles and O did not have to rebuild a program. It was already running when they took the jobs in their respective eras.

So Brian Kelly hasn't gotten LSU back up to speed that Orgeron dismantled to that extent. Yet Orgeron is the high water mark. Gotta be tough picking your heroes in BR.

I don’t understand the animosity or confusion. I give him credit for 2019, but the collapse of the programs is his to own as well. Both can be true.

Nor will you. Verbalizing that Les Miles has had the better LSU program is like confessing an unforgivable sin to a Cajun fan these days. Talk about living in denial. You guys have turned me into the Les Miles apologist. So, one more time, Les Miles is the best head coach you have ever had in your football program, who in almost 12 seasons put the most talented teams the SEC has seen from BR and he's being treated like crap by you guys.

If I was an Alabama fan (like the OP is despite his Ole Miss logo) then I probably wouldn't care for him. It does seem he goes out of his way to not appear as an Alabama homer.
I would he shocked if that was the case if he was on the Alabama radio network or whatever though. He works for ESPN and WJOX, so he can't be a straight up unapologetic Gump or ESPN would definitely send him packing and maybe WJOX too. I think Cole Cublic does a good job as well, although I geek out on his OL and DL analysis and don't really pay attention to any bias he may have.
