McElroy is like arsenic. A little might not hurt much, but you don't want a big dose.

He's not terrible, but he's far from great. There's an earnestness there that just feels strained over the air. I'm not a massive hater, but don't care that much.

I'm totally baffled as to why he's calling Alabama's games for a network.

I have no problem with him. Aaron Murray on the other hand has no business calling any game ever again. At this point in his life business is business. You are asked to provide commentary because you are a “expert” in football. His arse hurt pours out of him instead

Actually, he is. He was born in LA and when his dad got the Dallas job when Greg was 10 they obviously moved.
