It's not on this board but alot of the members of this board tuned in to the greatest melt of all time that was the Tony Basilo show after the Vandy loss where he basically called Butch Jones an adulterer and a pedophile. Butch went on to coach one more year IIRC

If you are referring to the Aggie loss, I expected a lot bigger of a melt, but it was more over the scuffle after the game than it was the game. I am sure the TR was off the hook, but I don't go there, just here.

Wasnt on the rant but i know i melted big time when Jamie Howard threw 4 pick 6's against the barn back in the 90's. all we had to do was run the ball. that was back in the day when a winning record would have been a time for celebration. wife threw me out of the house in 100 plus heat in good old el paso till i calmed down a little bit. You think the Coach O cant coach? Love the shrimp boat Capt. Even Les wouldnt have done that stupid crap back then.

I think Coach O is a decent coach, but I also think LSU can do better.
If we are talking about about past melts before I discovered this board, then many from Coach Fran and that damn offense he ran that I hated, and of course during the Shula years I was in a constant state of meltiness.

I know right. If at anytime I get upset at a game these days, I just think back about 30 or so years ago and remember the good ole days of Nebraska or Oklahoma. We are a lot better then we where back in those days at least. Won a couple of nattys. Every thing comes in cycles. Bama is on a hell of a roll. Enjoy it while it last. One day some other team will be on top. Might be awhile. This is the only time of the year that I have to swallow my pride and have to pull for that damn tide.

Greatest melt was when Kiffen left TN. One fan video’d himself pissing on a kiffen tn shirt and then set it on fire. Seems like there was some rioting by students too but I might be wrong on that part.

Best real life Melt ive ever seen was in 2006.
A Tennessee fan was playing rocky top from her phone in my buddies face as we walked down from the 600 deck in Sanford. Dawgs blew a lead and got hammered. (Shocker)
Anyways.....mid rocky top my buddy snatched her phone and Roger Clemens that shite right off the walk way into the heavens. That phone flew forever. Her face.....i'll never forget the look. Confusion to rage and then to being completely distraught. it was great
