Other than that, Tracy Rocker still frightens me after all these years.

Pollack just had a nose for the ball, kind of like Fairley. I knew Tracy Rocker must be something special when I heard he was starting as a RS Freshman. At that time, Auburn was so stacked at D-Line, only juniors and seniors were starters.

By his senior year, most teams ran away from him and everybody double-teamed him, and sometimes triple teamed him. He was also slowed slightly from the knee injury that occurred in the FSU game. Still, he was 2nd on the team in tackles and won an Outland Trophy.

Tracy's younger brother David also played and was a concensus All-American himself. A reporter once asked Dye who was better. Dye thought for a minute and said "David is a little bigger, and a little faster, and maybe a little stronger, but Tracy is a whole lot meaner."

He still scares me.

I think Clowney was the most physically gifted defensive lineman in SEC history. #1 overall recruit. #1 overall draft pick. He just didn't stay healthy and have the same motor that some of the other players on the list did.

It's Reggie White. I'd say Derrick Thomas but I consider him the greatest SEC LB of all time.. and he can't hold 2 GOAT spots.

Rocker was my coach in college and is the only person I’ve ever been truly scared of

Greatest Def. Lineman in SEC History?

The guy that played for Auburn in the 50's?

(may have been an O lineman, memory is foggy)

Zeke Smith was an offensive lineman, and an all-american. He won the Outland too.

If I can't pick Lawrence Taylor, because we're talking D-Line ?

Lawrence Taylor didn't play in the SEC
