LSU Bama runs laps around that game for NFL talent.

quote:

2011 The game featured 60 future NFL players on the two sidelines

2019 was even better . All the starting QBs, WRs, and RBs of 2019 LSU vs Alabama game were drafted in the first round.

quote:

60 players from the 2019 LSU/Alabama game were drafted into the NFL, including 13 Pro Bowlers.

Joe Burrow
Tua
Ja’Marr Chase
Justin Jefferson
Devonta Smith

Bama WR room: Smith, Judy, Ruggs , Waddle lol.

USC Texas my arse.

LSU had a player drafted at every position from that team- including long snapper. Not only Heisman winners but sure fire NFL Hall of Famers.

Regular season would be 1971 Nebraska/OU since it was for the Coaches poll natty.
Bowl game would have to be the Vince Young Rose Bowl against USC.

Curious how you came to this conclusion with 2017 Bama team allowing 80more yards per game than 2011 team

I was referring to the 2017 championship game. I should have stated the 2016

It's relative to the offensive environment that existed at that time. 2011 was old school offenses. 2016 was during the spread offense revolution.. Everyone was scoring 40+ a game.

They were #1 in scoring defense, #1 in rushing defense, and tied for #1 in total defense. The #2 scoring defense allowed over 1 point per game more than Alabama did. The #2 rushing defense allowed a whopping 32 more rushing yards per game.
