Thanks, it really was and I think fans of both teams were holding on to every pitch. Ole Miss is a very good team so I'm happy for the win. We needed it more than they did.

Tremendous win but what a game for the fans. Can’t ask for anything more than that.

I think Henderson outsmarted himself in the ninth. I know he was playing percentages and match ups but France has been dealing it lately. Sometimes you need to go with the hot pitcher and IMHO this was a time to do that.

Otherwise, very proud of these players who have been scorned and pilloried throughout the season. But they have finally jelled and are playing some great baseball.

Great college baseball game.

Just read thru the thread and kudos to posters on both sides for knowing their teams so well. It's hilarious how State and OM posters knew exactly what was about to happen in every situation
