Dabo doesn't seem like some fire and brimestone puritanical religious person to me

I am religious, but I am not comfortable for coaches acting as if God favored them in some way. Do they think God is weighing devotion to decide who get to win a football game? Thanking God for the gifts he has bestowed is one thing, but your opponent may be a good person also.

God doesn’t always show favor to “good” people or disfavor to “bad” people. Bad things happen to “good people” and it’s still Gods plan.

one of the main tenets of Christianity is everybody is a sinner and needs forgiveness from God
so don't see the hypocrisy unless Freeze said he's not a sinner. lol
i don't think dabo's point is that God favored Clemson to win. some of ya'll eager to debate a strawman argument cuz Dabo wins too much
God wasn't favoring Dabo the night WV put 70 on Clemson not that long ago lol
or 5 losses in a row to SC which featured losing the turnover margin significantly
Dabo's had his share of horrible no good rotten losses
remember Alabama kicking the onside kick to themselves in 4th quarter against Clemson in that first title game matchup. lol Seemed like God hated Dabo that night. i'm still bitter about that one

God is Joy...we might rejoice because of the salvation of God.
God is Peace...God's peace isn't the absent of chaos, but the ability to know God's stabilizing presence in chaos.
For the record I believe Dabo is sincere in his faith, but like many modern evangelicals he is sincerely wrong.

No, but but the Spirit did allow me to discern an abomination of a human being in Trump. I can live with that frankly because most politicians are corrupt at some level. The treason with Russia though, I don't abide traitors.
