Yeah and pretty much Naz Reid as well. He had a terrible game.

The second half took 75 minutes if that tells you anything

That had to be painful to watch. Especially with UT ahead the whole 2nd half.

Great game. Tenn is final 4 bound
Am I missing something here? I'll say it again. Tennessee has played 4 currently ranked teams and lost 3 of those 4.

I'd like to congratulate the student athletes from both teams for the way they all competed at the highest level of intercollegiate athletics this afternoon, while representing two fine institutions of higher learning.

Hell of a game, Vols.

I don’t follow y’all very closely, but are Bone and Schofield always that lethal? I kept waiting for Grant to go off. Feel like if he would have had a good game, we may not have been in it late.

Didn't watch game but heard on Radio it took like 20 min to play the last 3min due to foul calls and reviews. No way to get into any type of rhythm

yes, but those weren't calls or refs benefiting LSU. The refs were just mangling the game.

For example, there was a foul called on Tennessee for blocking, while inside the protected area (or whatever it was). Clear and obvious. It was then reviewed for a couple of minutes, and the ref then announced "there was a foul on Tennessee, blocking, inside the protected area".
Not very long after, Tennessee clearly lost the ball out of bounds. You could see instantly on replay that the ball was off Tennessee, and that the clock stopped the instant it touched down out of bounds. After another couple minutes of review, that's what the refs then decided too.

Vitale was going off on the refs, because they were reviewing things that weren't in the slightest bit in question, and taking lots of time doing it.

In overtime, LSU made a shot to go up 2, Tennessee missed and LSU got the rebound and headed upcourt. Admiral Schofield fell down on the attempted rebound.
Several seconds into the possession, the refs stopped play- not to review anything, but literally, to allow Schofield to get up, come down the court, and Tennessee set up their halfcourt defense. I've never seen anything like that before- if someone gets a 5 on 4, that's life.
It's like the refs clearly didn't know what they were supposed to be doing.

The ending foul was unfortunate for Tennessee, but it was also obvious, and as Vitale pointed out, there was actually another that could have been called too. It was just weird that 2 Tennessee guys would hit someone in the backcourt with less than a second left, but they did.

From what I've seen, which is very little outside this game, Bone is a damn good pg.

If you watched the game you wouldn’t say that, the refs were awful all the way ar. And if you watched the season you wouldn’t say that either, LSU doesn’t give up many fouls in any game.
