This is the way the Vols end, the Vols end, the Vols end.
Not with a bang, but a whimper...

PNW, you're either a serial killer or live in Seattle. Or Both. When does summer start there? July 5th.
I've been out here since 1994. Attending baseball, football or basketball games in no way impedes anyone from the outdoors. I'm n=1, but there are many others. You trail run, you fish, you go to a ballgame, you ski. Oh yeah, no ski resorts in Seattle.

Come out west and you’ll see empty baseball stadiums all over because the west has more to offer outside of sitting for 3 hours watching baseball

PNW, my suspicion is that you're a fat frick who doesn't do shite outdoors, and you'd do that wherever you are living. Let's compare Strava or Apple Health accounts. Let's flop 'em down friendo. Figure out a way to fake it and I'll give you two years of data off the cuff.
PNW is probably hiking or camping in the woods.

No, it was Vols not blowing it open early and Bama hanging around.
4 of your 9 hits all came in the first inning, and all with 2 outs.
Do you now know how the game of baseball is played?

PNW is a pussy. An internet intellectual who's not even smart. I ran on the Donner Trail this morning and watched Utah and Arizona after. VO2 max is still 180 and I'm approaching 50. frick you PNW. You're an embarrassment. Have some cheesecake.

Plenty to do at night out west. Put it this way, people here don’t necessarily follow college sports for one. Again, this is because there is only so many hobbies one can fit into an annual schedule. Mountaineering, skiing, climbing, hiking, camping, backpacking, over landing, etc is a lot to squeeze in a baseball game. When focus isn’t on something in particular, it kind of goes to the back burner even on cold Friday evenings. College baseball just isn’t an attractive past time.
I live "out west" (further than your frozen Rocky Mountain arse) and seem to fit college and pro sports into my schedule while also camping in Big Sur and the Sequoia's, surfing, kayaking, snowboarding a couple of times a year and throwing in the occasional road trip.
Also grew up in the southeast where I (surprise surprise) also went camping, hiking, kayaking and road tripped 5 hours to some of the nicest beaches in the country in the Gulf coast.
You seem like an elitist douche, which absolutely no one from Colorado ( I guess that's where you're from. Obviously you haven't claimed a state on purpose) should try and pretend to be. The Rockies are amazing, but acting like living near them makes you somehow superior to every speck of nature in the South is a really weird outlook to cultivate. Go find an REI website to post on and leave the college sports discussion to people that, you know, like them.

Oh god it got worse with you. You people are the worst. Staring into your health apps and GPS units on exceedingly well-marked trails, getting in everyone’s way, while completely missing the whole point of getting into the backcountry in the first place. Nerd!

I don’t think you know what you’re up against. And that’s fine.
And no I don’t live in Seattle.

Yet you’re here on a Friday night, and back Saturday morning telling everyone there are better things to do out west. Hilarious.

Just read the recap, and the BaseVols seem to be a little butthurt. Article written by Vols sportswriter not very flattering.
