Bah! All the good teams are done with shooty hoops. Time for the Rant to return to its core principles.
Football crapposting and hot cheerleader pictures.

If I was betting today, I'd take Vanderbilt over 6.5 wins (regular season) and Georgia over 9.5.
Vanderbilt will always play hard and I think their offensive coaching staff might be the best in the country. And the new quarterback looks lab grown and throws 65 yard passes off of one foot.
And this is the fewest question marks and the most experience that Georgia has had heading into a season since 2022. Number 8 in the Bill Connelly experience ranking index thing after being ranked 100 something last year. Also Georgia only has to leave the state 3 times and the schedule is the friendliest it's been in a few years. Georgia hasn't lost 3 regular season in 10 years, and they'd have to lose 3 games to lose the bet.
Definitely not predicting a national championship, because it's harder these days and you have to win at least 3 playoff games instead of 2 and shite happens, but this is setting up to be a vintage Kirby team and a lot of joyless murderball will be played.

You talking about football? Hell, I haven't heard a single thing about any of the football teams for the upcoming season.
LSU will have some expectations but nothing leads me to think that any of conjecture on their behalf is out of place.
No one expects much out of Auburn, Florida, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, State.
Ole Miss will be interesting to watch only because LSU took their coach but that's about it.
A&M and Texas have to stay in step now that they've had recent decent seasons.
I have heard a lot of talk that DeBoer must produce this year but I think he'll get another 2-3 seasons.
So, no hype really except possibly LSU but I don't think it's too much.
I don't think anyone cares as much as they did before NIL and TP bs.
