I wish more SEC fans would get to see how Auburn fans really act. Don't let the aw shucks, welcome to Awbarn act fool you. A large element of their fanbase is just as trashy and pathetic as the worst parts of everyone else's besides maybe Vandy.

You run into everything, just like every other fan base. I was around some super nice people last year, and I was around a few trash talkers who threw stuff at us at the end. For the most part it was a great experience.

In 2007 I sat in the Auburn student section and had a great time. Really nice fans. They openly told me they hated Alabama with a passion, but they were extremely kind to me.

Alabama and Auburn fans fighting over which fans in the bowels of fandom are worse is like seeing two brothers fight about whether one is more deformed than the other.... when one has 9 fingers and the other has 11.

I've never heard this either.

All I can tell you is that I've heard it repeatedly at Bryant Denny for the Barn game and others that I've been too. Perhaps it could have been over zealous fans ad-libbing, but it seemed common place.

One would surely be superior in thumb wrestling as it were, though.

Pretty sure you heard some ad-libbing. Now that, I can believe. There are always fans here and there who get carried away and say some stupid crap. It happens.

Which one do you think would have the edge? No one said the thumb was the missing appendage for the 9 fingered phenom.

I try to take the kids to non-SEC match ups to keep that crap to a minimum. The less drunken fans, the better. Actually, we prefer the 11AM games.

We have 12

Rome defeated Carthage at the Battle of Zama and won the Second Punic War ....

But Bama claims that too.

Let's be honest. The bammer would be missing his thumb. Obvious lumber yard accident.

The real question is, was he cutting Yella Wood?

So are you saying that your kids have never ever heard the words "mother fricker" at an auburn game? Ever?

This is a genetic deformity... And Auburn is smack in the middle of timberland...

If anyone lost a fanger, it'd be the barner.

Jimmy R. is a shoe-in for an Oscar this year. The breadth of his performance in those commercials is rivaled only by the uttering of "Rose Bud".

I've been going to SEC games since I was 6. I'd ask my dad what some words meant and he just told me they were words adults said when they were really angry or excited and that I could start using them too when I got older.

I heard the Coen Bros. made a special role just for him in the new True Grit.
