Given that Tennessee is the only team in the Big 6 who hasn't produced

a Heisman Trophy winner, should they really be part of the Big 6? I mean even South Carolina (Little 8) has produced a Heisman Trophy winner. The structure should probably be altered to Big 5, Little 9 in my opinion.

Well it's clearly time that the prerequisites were amended.

Pretty crazy that Tennessee has never had a heisman with all the talent they've had over the years

The Big 6 is a myth.
All hail the Elite 4. TN, UGA, UA, and AU.

Yeah I guess Charles Woodson and his ability as a cornerback/punt returner is more valuable than Peyton's ability as a quarterback.

Response thread. And we've been fricked over twice for the Heisman in favor of a defensive player and a player from a 2-9 team. Like what the hell? Anyway, I presume you're a fan of a little 8 school who hasn't won a natty in your lifetime.

You are really one stupid person.

Alabama didn't have a Heisman winner until Mark Ingram in 2009.
What's your point?

Good point. It's time Bamas legitimacy as a big 6 affiliate is called into question as well.

Defensive players should win the Heisman more often, but it's kind of stupid how many schools have lost their chance for the distinction of a Heisman winner because the Heisman people can't make up their minds about the identity of the award. McFadden also got screwed out of it by not winning one of the two times he was in the race.

This is true. Look at SEC scheduling if you don't believe me. The SEC headquarters could not give less of a frick about LSU or Florida

Seems like the times they decide to make weird, out of the blue decisions for Heisman winner are when a UT player would ordinarily win it 95% of other years. It's bullshite

Heisman award is a joke. Darren McFadden got robbed twice of it.

The 2–9 is just absolutely bizarre. That's far worse than losing it to a defensive player. I wish the country could just collectively stop giving a shite about that stupid award.
