You actually think he deserved the Heisman?

He was the first and only back in SEC history to rush for 2,000 or more yards, and he did it against one of the most difficult schedules of the BCS/Playoff era.

Give his line the Heisman then. Fournette would have rushed for more if healthy at Bama that year.

I like the guy but him winning the heisman was atrocious. Shouldn't have been anywhere near that trophy

With this logic, no running back has ever deserved the Heisman because they are all heavily dependent upon their offensive lines to open holes for them.

He was healthy in 2015 and was supposedly on the better team (according to LSU fans) until they got their asses kicked in Tuscaloosa that Saturday night.

How about a win against BAMA without a rematch? It’s the least you can do ??

Ingram won the Heisman in '09 because the top three candidates (Bradford, McCoy, and Tebow) either got injured, had so-so seasons, or crapped the bed in the biggest game of the year. Ingram's only competition that year was Toby Gerhart, a running back on a team that had finished 8-4 in the Pac 10.

There was also the Alabama factor in play. No Alabama player had ever won the Heisman. Since he was the best player on the best team, and since the field was relatively weak that year, the voters decided to give Ingram the trophy. At least he balled out in the championship game after they gave it to him, unlike many other past winners.

Suh should have won it that year. And if you’re just giving it away, go with the guy with better stats in Gerhart.

That would be the whacked out cracked out A&M QB from a few years ago. What was his name again? Menstruel? Something like that...

So that’s why Tua didn’t win it last year.

Let me know how your crow tastes, douchebag

Alabama played the most difficult schedule of any national championship team in NCAA history. Of the 15 teams Alabama played, 14 had a winning record, 13 played in bowl games and Alabama defeated 12 of them, 8 won bowl their games, 6 won 10 or more games, 3 won 9 games, 2 won 8 games, and 2 won 7 games. Two conference champions (Big 10 and ACC) were defeated in the Playoffs by Alabama. 7 of Alabama’s opponents were ranked in the final AP Poll (#2 Clemson, #6 Michigan State, #10 Ole Miss, #16 LSU, #21 Wisconsin, #22 Tennessee, #25 Florida). In the final Coaches Poll, 8 of Alabama’s opponents were ranked (the same teams as in the AP plus #24 Georgia).

Mcaffrey should have won the year Henry won. CMac was the best player in college football that year. Henry is so robotic and makes nobody miss. He benefited from a dominant O-line. Any of the backs on the team would have had the same numbers
