There’s not. 
These zoomer arse educated, melted brain individuals on here are so used to the Willie T troll thread environment on this god forsaken board that any time a hypothetical or thought provoking conversation comes up they automatically think there’s some underlying sarcasm or troll behind it.
I even gave the example of PSU and FSU’s long periods of decency after relative greatness in the 80s and 90s followed by loads of meaningless 9-10 win seasons.
If an Ole Miss fan values 10+ wins a year similar to championships at this point in time then more power to them. I hope the sharks see continued success under Kiffin.

Why do you believe another coach could take them further than Lane has?

It's because you worded the first sentence of the OP like complete dogshit.
It comes off as you saying he's being a detriment CURRENTLY.....not the future. And CURRENTLY.....we haven't sustained this level of play since Vaught. Are results overachieve our budget/resources.
Once we aren't able to sustain this level of play and our results fall below our budget/resources, then we start looking at if he or someone else is being the problem.
A great example would be Bianco and our baseball program. Our results since 2021 have not matched our budget/resources.
This thread could have been prevented had you used something considered to be common sense before you decided to type.

I don't think this is as thought provoking as you think it is. Ole Miss will be fortunate if Lane elevates the program to where a 10 win season is meaningless. There's only one, maybe two programs in the SEC where that would currently apply. A 10 win season would be considered a success everywhere but Bama and maybe UGA.

Winning 10 games a year while Kiffin “figures out” how to be a top tier head coach has been fun.
Anyone that thinks he sucks is a moron. I’ll gladly suffer through this because the floor with Kiffin is very high and he will get us to the playoffs.
