GIANT potential LSU tv ratings

The SEC as a conference averaged 4.9M per game in 2025 vs. the Big Ten's 2.8M. The top 5 teams (Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Ohio State, Oklahoma) collectively captured a huge chunk of the total audience. If LSU moves from 7th into the top 3, they'd be in the same tier as Alabama and Georgia — meaning they'd be commanding roughly 1.5–2x their 2025 audience share relative to the field, and likely sitting in the top 2–3 most-watched programs in all of college football for the back half of the season.
Bottom line: A consistent winning run under Kiffin realistically puts LSU in the 7.5–8.5M average range, with marquee games cracking 10M+, which would make them the 2nd or 3rd most-watched team in the country behind only Alabama and possibly Georgia. That's a meaningful jump from 7th last year, and it's the kind of viewership that feeds back into recruiting, revenue, and the CFP narrative.
MONEY MAN KIFFIN
Lane is a gold mine, LSU is looking at a multiple decade resurgence.
His impact is going to be legacy levels of growth and wealth for LSU sports

LSU / Runts is going to be a 10 million + rating night. The SEC isn't doing shite.

Kiffin won't be at LSU for decades
I am happy he's here and we look good, but he'll go to the NFL in 4-5 years if success continues.
ETA:
Adds to the short sighted reaction from the SEC for his half time joke. Just calm the frick down.

I am pretty sure he is blackballed from the NFL. If he wasn't already, convincing NFL players to ditch their contracts to go back to college was the final nail. He will likely end his career at LSU unless LSU get's tired of him.

He’s either worn out his welcome or managed to shite his own bed every stop along the way. It’ll be a wild few years, but it’s inevitable he’ll self destruct in one way or another before too long.

Wait. You think Kiffin has power over MULTIPLE NFL franchises to make them waive/cut players?
