The Bulldogs beat Presbyterian so bad you'd think all of Athens had converted to Catholicism.
Seriously though, it's not just that UGA beat them 28-3...
It's that UGA scored 28 runs on just 19 hits... and Presbyterian did not commit a single error.
UGA not only got 19 hits, they also drew 14 walks and Presbyterian threw two wild pitches. The left 6 runners on base.
I swear, the stat block is what you would expect if UGA had played a high school team.

It's not surprising, considering Presbyterianism has its roots in Calvinist theology.

The outcome was predetermined but the players thought they’d play the game anyway

that seems about right to me....walks are usually why teams score so much

Scoring 28 and leaving only six on base is a bit skewed. Usually, when you score that much, there's a bunch of traffic every inning which results in a lot of LOB.
