He definitely deserves some blame. There’s an art to getting air under it to help out the protection. Commentators certainly didn’t let him off the hook

Big win for us!!! Great win!
Sims was committed to FSU and when Norvell was hired he told Sims he didn't want him. Didn't fit his system. So Sims decommitted and went to Tech. We weren't scheduled to play FSU until 2022 then Covid happened and now we get stuck going to Tallahassee first game of the year. The irony of us beating Norvell in his first game at FSU with the QB he dumped being our starter is pretty crazy. Has to be a great feeling for Sims. Florida fans can rub that one into their rival a bit. You're welcome Gators!

The cornerback beat on the touchdown to tie the game is former Mississippi State player Jarrian Jones.
State tried to tell him he was more of a safety then cornerback.

That game is completely different if Trask is the starter.
Feleipe, like many games, almost cost us that one. Also don't say: "Ah well, we'll never know if Trask was truly better." Trask beat Feleipe in every single passing category available, including total yards, Touchdown passes, etc. He only started 10 games.
Worst of it all was that Trask out threw Feleipe's career high for a single game (2018 Vanderbilt) 6 out of the 10 times he started.

We heard a lot of shite from FSU fans when Stoops interviewed that they just didn’t want him and that’s why he didn’t end up in Tallahassee.
I’m a firm believer he saw that shite show and said no thanks.

I agree. The first game or two after a regime change can be pretty rough. FSU hasn't exactly been setting the world on fire the last 2-3 years despite having some pretty good talent so there were some issues there. Norvell did a great job at Memphis. He can win at FSU if they give him time and he can find a QB. I've never thought that James Blackman was very good.

My dad and brother both went to GA Tech.
I was on the phone with them in the last few minutes and they were losing their minds
